Mary is a seasoned finance professional with over 27 years’ experience, including 11 years leading finance and administration departments within the health sector. She holds a master’s degree in strategic business management from Manchester Metropolitan University and is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to the Beginnings Fund, Mary served as the Finance & Administration Director at Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation and as CFO at Banja La Mtsogolo (Marie Stopes). Her expertise spans financial systems management, budgeting, and complex donor reporting. When she isn’t managing finances, Mary is a true nature enthusiast who enjoys spending her free time traveling to game parks and discovering the beauty of remote landscapes.
