Grants and Finance Manager
John Kuyeli is a seasoned accountant with over 22 years of experience in large-scale grants management and finance operations across the international development sector. He began his career as an auditor at Deloitte, building a strong foundation in financial controls, compliance, and assurance.
John has held senior finance leadership roles with leading organisations. He served as Head of Finance and Operations at the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) and, before that, as Senior Finance Specialist with Cardno, the Global Fund’s fiscal agent, where he provided fiduciary oversight of Global Fund. He also spent more than five years as Head of Finance at Plan International.
At Beginnings Fund, John brings deep expertise in grants management, financial governance, internal controls and risk management. His experience ensures that resources are managed with transparency and accountability.
John is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University in the UK and holds a master’s degree from Wrexham University in Wales.
